HotStik is a big hit
The unit is small, yet it produces a powerful beam ideal for back lighting. Simply setting it to fade will circulate through all the colors and provide a nice back wash. The silhouette effect by running only the back light is pleasing for softer environments such as lounges and other small venues.
On the down side, I found it somewhat pricey for what it does. At least, the long life of the LEDs make the price a little easier to swallow. Surprisingly, the unit was heavier than I expected and so I would use it as a floor unit only.
All in all, I am very pleased with the simplicity and lighting options of which this unit is capable.

Top Notch Fogger
Wow! This unit really spits out the fog! I particularly like the fact that I can control it in a number of ways. It came with both manual and remote control features, even though it was advertised as manual operation only. The unit can also be controlled by the ADJ DMX Operator 384 by running a 5-pin DIN cable between the unit and the DMX controller. Pretty nifty.
The unit has a convenient carrying handle and it can be mounted with a clamp to a light stand. It's got some weight to it, though. It was somewhat larger and heavier than I had imagined it would be. But, I have no complaints about its output. Terrific fog machine.

Sturdy, yet lightweight
A very fine product, in my view. It has a sturdy tripod stand that can be locked into any position along the pipe. The pan is made of quality gauge metal so it won't warp under the weight of your laptop (mine is a 17" and it's got some weight to it). The product also includes an anti-slip pad that can be mounted on the pan. The riser can be clamped into any height within its range. However, there are a number of drilled holes along the pipe for insertion of the attached safety pin. All in all, I find it to be a product I can depend on.
