The adapter doesn't fit in the camera's ...

The adapter doesn't fit in the camera's card slot. I tried it on both an Olympus Stylus 300 Digital and a Fuji FinePix S3000. I tried it without the microSD. It just won't go in. What can I be doing wrong? Are you getting other complaints?
