Works; XM traffic is worthless in the city & expensive. Wait 4 next Gen GPS

A good unit if you luck into one that doesn't have a manufactures defect. Read the reviews, some work fine, others have problems. My first one had all the issues noted on the web; second unit, very solid NO issues, works as expected. I'm VERY disappointed with the XM Traffic. The unit doesn't show traffic on Major Streets in Los Angeles (or any major city serviced by XM Traffic) you only get the highways/freeways. Useless when trying to avoid traffic in the city. Regarding the XM subscription, the 'puck' XM antenna is the XM radio so each 'puck' is an additional subscription on XM. If you mount one 'puck' on the bike and another on the car(s), then each 'puck' will cost about $100 a year for XM. Too much I think. If I had it to do again, I'd get a 550 and stream music from my phone via bluetooth or XM (with a web subscription)and have almost all the 'extra' features without the cost. Keep a lookout for a new model; the Zumo 350 was announced about a week after my unit was all wired into my bike/car. RIDE SAFELY !!
