A blast from the past
The movie is fondly remembered from my first viewing back in the 1960s. Whilst it is not unusual to be disappointed with something that you have fond memories of from the past, Born Free was just as enjoyable for me more than 50 years after my first viewing. My 16 year old daughter and I watched the movie together and she enjoyed it as much as I did.
The quality of the Bluray reproduction was reasonable given that it is a movie dating back to the mid sixties.
Highly recommended.

Mediocre Quality
The quality of this model is best described as 'mediocre'. Some blemishes and dribbles in paintwork; chrome detailing displays 'spline' marks; door lining on one door has gaps. Doesn't compare to a 'Biante', 'ERTL' or 'Auto Art' diecast model. Whilst manufactured in china (what isn't these days?), this model is from an American distributor. If you were to purchase this from a retail outlet in the US, it'd be a $30 - $40 model at best.

A good story inspired by a true event - the loss of the B24 Liberator, ‘Ladybe Good’ in 1943.
A made for TV movie. 4:3 format. Bluray quality would, at best, be a 3 Star, but a marked improvement on the DVD version. No special features.
