I was scared of buying one of these because of how it looks. I was right. I had to notch the oil pan lip with a death wheel and hammer it up to get 1/
I was scared of buying one of these because of how it looks. I was right. I had to notch the oil pan lip with a death wheel and hammer it up to get 1/8 of an inch of clearance from the main positive battery cable. Could you put the electrical connections on the other side? That being said I made it work. Replaced a 30 pound dog of a starter on a 70 Cadillac Deville with a 472 with 10:1 compression and it cranks over at double speed! Success. Now I just have to extend my + cable.
