Leonard Cohen at his near best.
One of Cohen's best albums. Wonderfully recorded with that Cohen basso profundo voice.

Billie Holiday ... always a great artist.
Billie Holiday towards the end of her life. The voice is a bit gruff, but the feeling, timing, and musicality are all there, maybe even more than when she was younger.
Accompanied by a group of the greatest jazzmen of the 40's and 50's, well recorded and pressed, with a wonderful selection of standards, this album is a true joy.
