Sounds like garbage for music, for communication it's great. Very disappointed.
For a PC headset, it needs to not just have a great comfortability, and a great microphone, it also has to be able to play music well. These sound fantastic, for voice communication, and only voice communication. Once you start trying to play music on them, they sound flat, and dull. I have a much cheaper pair of HyperX Cloud 2's that sound WAY WAY better for music.
Switching back and forth from phone calls to music, is absolutely miserable on the David Clarks. I tried "fixing" the response curve using an equalizer, and it just couldn't be done. If you want to listen to music at all through these, you're going to be miserable.
If you want these specifically for communication, and no other purpose whatsoever, then this is the headset for you.
The microphone is terrific.
There's a sidetone (where you hear your own voice) that is built into the headset and can't be modified through the PC. This ranges from nice to have, to super annoying.
It wears a tight on the head, that may be adjustable though, haven't quite figured that out yet.
I love listening to music between phone calls. That makes these, completely worthless for me. Very sad.
David Clark does not know how to build a headset for PC users.
