Well rounded and solid speakers for the budgeted musician
My original intention was to purchase a mid-range monitor pair of speakers for PC/Mac/Laptop work in recording MIDI/Guitar/Bass etc...
This little pair do deliver a punch and for those string players out there you will need to understand that feedback will be an issue(particularly acoustic amplified instruments).
There are some distortion issues as you may have read in previous reviews, however, given the price range and the solid construction this is a very good choice for those musicians on a budget that need solid sounds.
In terms of MIDI/Soft Synth recording through any DAW they work great. The issue is when you are working with Microphones and string instruments, for that you will need a pre-amp such as the Line 6 Pod as direct recording and monitoring through these may cause feedback and distortion.
Overall, this pair do provide well rounded sound when working through a PC studio environment. For those who rather purchase this as an alternative to your normal cheap PC speakers you will be in for a treat.

The new sound in acoustic electric Basses
0 of 1 found this helpful As my first venture in acoustic Electric Bass guitars, my feelings were that you would need to purchase a name brand that was synonymous with acoustic basses. Michael Kelly has always been in my mind, however giving the Ibanez AEB a try I was completely floored by not only the sound, but the true design and most importantly, the feel.
The feel is almost boarders on an upright bass. The fretboard work and low action provide all players of any style to swing around the rosewood board like a pro. The built-in tuner and EQ work amazingly well and are very quick in tuning your bass and shaping the sound of your choice.
Plugging it into a amp or through direct input(or even through the line 6 Bass pod) straight to your PC works like a charm.

Excellent webcam for the money
For the money you cannot beat the craftsmanship of Logitech. As a previous PC support technician, this little webcam delivers sharp images and even works great under low light environments. Apart of the crisp images, the cam comes with a built-in microphone. In previous incarnations Logitechs mic's were not that great but they have improved their technology by incorporating a microphone that perfectly delivers all your nuances while having a video chat session without any sound drops or clips.
