Quite good but first half is basic
Assumes the reader has no previous knowledge, so the first half of the book is a bit basic about series versus parallel connections, amps versus volts, and battery safety. So if you are familiar with this go direct to the second half for the nitty gritty satisfying the title.
It would be useful to have a section how to measure the MAh capacity of Li-ion batteries, especially the 18650 (yes it can be done), as actual capacities are often much less than claimed. It is also useful to know the capacity of pre-used, reclaimed batteries so you can group them.
The author has a college degree in MECHANICAL not electrical engineering, with a background more in electric bikes - so bear this in mind when expecting details in the book.
However, there are still some useful ideas in the book, and for the money it is quite good value.

Wanders upwards when warms up
It's OK for general indication of CO2 concentration, but the ppm figure does tend to wander upwards as the monitor warms up over 5-10 minutes. I have cross-checked it against another (cheaper) monitor, both for the actual reading accuracy and also to see if the slow creeping upwards was a general problem. It reads OK against another monitor for the first 5 minutes, but then the reading creeps upwards from about 450ppm to about 600 - 700 ppm for no apparent reason i.e. no change in air environment. This is not of major significance for most purposes as with monitors of this quality, you're only interested in general air quality not the absolute value. So a difference between say 450 to 500 ppm, is not significant and I would put down to monitor imprecision and variation in manufacture such as electronic component tolerances. However the slow wander upwards is another issue, particularly since the cheaper model I was comparing against, didn't do it.

Very useful handy gadget
Very useful handy gadget. I use mine daily and have just bought another two for a neighbour.
As the clip arrives new, its spring can be a bit tight, but a few minutes with a pair of pliers rebending it, can have it working with just the right tension. Perfect tweaking is easy. Thereafter it works perfectly, not too tight nor so loose that the keys fall out.
Recommended for anyone who has to carry a set of keys around.
