This unit does not connect to your wifi enabled device. The software cd included is of no use to the setup of the product and contains files with titles like "Asian friend finder" "french friend finder" "Italian friend finder" "software spy" and best of all "adult hardcore video". AU Motorbike In-Helmet Headphone 2 Speakers Headset Volume Control For MP3 GPS
17 November 2018
Mods required
I recently purchased these speakers as a low cost alternative to a “real” setup. However, the cabling (in my opinion) needs work but I was able to modify it to make it MUCH better. Basically, I don’t want a long cable hanging out of my helmet all the time. I cut the volume control off completely and soldered the socket from the extension cable to the now shortened cable from the headset. This gives me a socket just inside the cheek pad of my helmet to attach a male/male cable to whenever I feel like using it. Much better. Maybe the next design could feature these changes? Headset with short cable (enough to only fit the helmet) to a socket. The “updated” extension cable to be male/male with the volume control. Thanks guys! It works well, just now suits my needs better.
