Beautiful watch
The watch is of excellent quality. Its grey sunburst dial is uniquely beautiful. Pair it with a dark brown leather strap and you have a beast that keeps time beautifully. The lume on this is absolute killer. One thing people don't mention are the silver edges to the lume, which also border the day and date complication--a beautiful and well thought out detail. The automatic, smooth ticking is a great feature and cooler than quartz watches' second by second tick.
Sellers have jacked up the price since it was discontinued by Seiko, which is unfortunate but a natural result of this watch being so popular. Another downside is its unnecessarily high wrist presence, which could have been accounted for by its original, sub $100 price. Overall, though, the other features of this watch make it a good buy, especially since the unique grey dial is so hard to find on other Seiko watches.
