Good sling but needed to modify for Trapdoor.
Not seeing an original one but seeing photos of 1887 rifle sling it seemed to be darn close for a reproduction.
I am satisfied with the leather and hardware with it as it served my purpose.
Needed to modify it a little, add about 10", to fit and use on my 1873 Springfield Trapdoor.

It is not the real thing but for a copy cat AR-15-22 works great. Can't beat the price.

It worked for me!
PRO:
It does as advertised. Helps support the upper receiver and barrel when building or repair or replacing upper AR-15 parts.
CON:
It is limited on positioning of the of the upper receiver and barrel.
