    Most of my sales are to raise money for charities, all profits going to The Gurkha Welfare Trust, the RBL, Crisis, The Salvation Army, NSPCC, Magic Breakfast and many others. Over �2000 has been raised in 2022 - my thanks to all my customers. My own collecting is based around the postcards of Richmond (North Yorkshire), the work of Brighton artist Flora White and the WW1 soldier-artist Fergus Mackain. I write postcard books and have some listed on Ebay. Thank you for looking!

    Arkady Renko series: Three stations by Martin Cruz Smith (Paperback) Great Value

    Arkady Renko series is a must-read for Soviet thriller & crime readers.
    The Arkady Renko books by Martin Cruz Smith began with the now famous 'Gorky Park'. The continuing series is an excellent read, down to earth crime in the murky corners of Moscow life. Hugely recommended for those who like to feel that they can easily enter the author's created world.

    Fantasy Writing at its Best
    Second book in the 'Raven' trilogy (read 'DawnThief' first). More realistic and gritty in parts than many fantasy novels - good characters die, too. Intelligently written with a good sense of style and occasion. Aas an English teacher, I found this book difficult to put down at times (and, similarly at times, difficult to pick up, partly dreading what new catastrophe would strike the main characters next......!).
