great for small dogs
we use these as wee-wee pads for our 12 lb dog. they work great. i recommend doubling them up. the petco wee wee pads are thicker but they are several times the price so this is a great bargain. shipping is quick, too!

march to the beat of a different drummer
1 of 2 found this helpful this is the best aps camera ever made (although the nikon slr is also very nice). you can often pick these up on ebay for not much more than the price of the lens alone. this is a real precision camera: great optics and whisper quiet operation. i find the menus to be overly complex but i'm pretty old school... give me a lense a shutter and stay out of my way. but seriously the autofocus is awesome on this baby. and did i mention that it feels great in your hands.
aps is the same size as digital sensors so the lenses work on canon digital eos cameras equally well. they only make aps in 200 & 400 iso these days. there are some advantages over 35mm. the negative rolls back into the canister for safe storage. the date is recorded on the film so if you get your film processed by kodak (and only kodak!) the picture cd will have the correct date info in the jpeg file. because exposure info is recorded on the film, prints tend to come out better from the photofinisher.

You can't be HD Radio for crystal clear sound!
1 of 1 found this helpful This has great sound. Even better than the HDRAD1 which I also own. The tuner section is amazing. Of course, HD has no static but even analog stations come in crystal clear. Both sensitivity and selectivity are excellent. Surprisingly rich amp and speakers for a bedside unit. The sound is omparable to $150+ radios.
The only downside is the controls. They is a row of tiny buttons across the top. After awhile, you memorize the positions but the preset system is pretty stupid. It brings up a menu that you need to toggle through to pick your station. Also, the display is super bright. Too bright for my nightstand so I taped a paper flap on it to cover the light. Also, there is no AM obviously. The HDRAD2 also lacks the external antenna port that's on the HDRAD1.
If you can deal with these quirks, this radio is one hell of a bargain. The sound will not disappoint you.
