I wish I had been there
This is an adventure story for children which appeals to the notion of surviving and being resourceful without the presence of adults. The style, written in Edwardian times, is of that era and initially could be off-putting. But the story is exciting and engaging. The boys who are on the run, hide in a forest and make a huge, hollow oak tree their home.
The descriptions of nature are magical and the author's illustrations are unforgettable. How the fugitives avoid capture makes for heart pounding reading and the character of old Smokoe Joe epitomises humanity in the most heart-warming of ways.

I found what I was looking for
This is just a CD with some inspiring classical music on it.

Not the usual high standard
Beautifully packaged but the soaps lack the lemon perfume I had hoped for.
