Very accurate, fits ASUS temp. connectors perfect
These are perfect for my ASUS TUF X299 MARK I. Three temp. connectors on the bottom rear of the MB, these are the right ones. Tested the temperature ability of each one compared to the readout on the MB monitor SW from within Windows 10 64 pro. Spot-on perfect. Great for M.2 SSDs (using conductive adhesive on the heatsink) so you don't have to access the SSD software and take valuable overhead from that device.

Great flat panel flashlights
Back light for a sketching table, recessed lighting in automobile (e.g. glove box), battery operated closet light, under cabinet, tent light. I used 18650 batteries with a DC-DC buck converter and variable resistor (on the buck converter) to vary the brightness. Can't suggest a mounting technique because the applications are endless- some artistic vision required. Cheap form of back-light...Go For It!

I'm a senior electronics technician, wanted to play around with this self contained bar meter. 1) Full function requires soldering three fine wires from the QFP pins around the edge to the back (front?) side LEDs. Already VIAs on the board, could have easily done that too. 2) No provision for mounting. Some creativity for your application will be required. 3) Thoughtful variable resistor implementation for various input and threshold scenarios. 4) Need advanced soldering skills (of course I do), or this is gonna get messy for ya. 5) Overall the price break is great, would have gladly paid more for one that had all the traces/VIAs. Bought 5, three were still connected together from the panel, easy to break apart. Recommend for cute bar display for simple VU or battery level indicator.
