Probably ok for welder tips, not so great for filing guitar nuts

I purchased this to see how it would work for filing guitar nut slots. The smaller wires (for a .010 gauge guitar string) were not very efficient. Just not enough cutting edges. It was taking a LONG time to deepen the slots. I finally gave up. The type of nut material would make a difference as well.

Good Switch

Easily switched out an old broken pressure switch with this one and it worked great.

Great replacement element

After watching some videos on how to replace the element, the process was fairly smooth. I was not sure I needed the kit with the extra support brackets but I am glad I got it. Several of the old brackets were brittle from the heat over time and they broke when I tried to straighten them up slightly. Overall, the instructions were adequate and the element works great.
