Bargain professional camera at an enthusiast price.
I've had other MFT cameras from Olympus, and always believed that Olympus were the superior camera company for photography. I've changed my opinion. The G9 is about a third less cost in comparison to an equivalent Olympus body but it usually is far superior. The grip is nicely shaped, the on/of button surrounds the short bottom for really quick in hand shooting. The menu system is much more logical. Photo quality is great.

It's too quiet to be a pressure cooker
Excellent build quality. High quality instruction manual provided. High-quality stainless steel bowl makes this easier to clean in the dishwasher. And it is very quiet, the steam venting is regulated on a continous basis and the sound dampening is very good.
