Not quite what's it cracked up to be.

The Tannoy's are some beautiful speakers, they are also a decent size but they really doesn't sound like all that special I have heard better.

A sleeper system that no many knows about..

I never heard of Sherwood S-9910, receivers until recently so I did some research on it, it was very hard to get any info on it because it's so rare. What I did find I liked what I read and when I heard the sound quality blown me away! With that being said they compare it to the Marantz 2270, when it come to sound quality, the beauty of it, the size the of the unit, the beautiful face plate, the blue station illustration, the wooden cabinet that surround the chassis. I am very impressed with it. I consider it the sleeper system because very little people knows about it or if they do it's very little, if they did they would be blown away like I was. Sherwood S-9910 falls under the radar but it can definitely hang with the big boys pound for pound..
