Junk cable included
2 of 5 found this helpful Junky 4" non-standard USB cable is included. Mine was defective. Instructions included and on the website are so poor and sparse that it took me several days of troubleshooting and searching for a compatible cable to get my device flashed.
Tips for users: YES, the green light on the module should light up when plugged into your USB port. If it doesn't, you have either a defective cable or a defective module. This information is NOWHERE on the website, instructions, or the "help" forum.
Second tip is to DISABLE your computer from automatically installing USB drivers when you plug in a new device.
[Start, Devices, Right Click Icon for your Computer, Click "Device Installation Settings", Click to select "No, let me choose what to do", "select Never install driver software from Windows update", and then click Save Changes. You can always undo this after you flash your module. This is by far the biggest way people have trouble flashing their device.
Third tip: WINDOWS PC is REQUIRED.
