Great price compared to buying a new power supply
If the cable breaks on a Mac MagSafe power supply, Apple recommend throwing the power supply away and buying a new one. This is sensible, because Apple know the quality of their products. It's also expensive, and the old one is perfectly functional - it just needs a new cable.
To fix the power supply involves breaking open the power supply case, safely doing soldering on the internal cables, then fixing the case (e.g. with superglue). There are instructional videos online. If you don't know what you are doing, or you aren't comfortable tinkering with power electronics, you probably want to avoid this one, and buy a new power supply from Apple instead.
