Solid little workhorse, Pro quality video with 4K MP4 and AVCHD file output
You can't go wrong with The Sony FDR-AX100 camcorder. Performs well in auto mode but has all the manual controls you would find on a quality camera. Unless you absolutely need XLR canon style audio connectors, this camera is my first choice now in 2021 and since 2016. Great image integrity.

GREAT ADDITION TO SIMPLE CAMCORDER
This is a great tool addition for pro audio interfacing to normal camcorder with 1/8" mic input. The only thing it could use is a dual 9v circuit to power 48v phantom powered mic. But I love it. I plug a XLR cable into it from an audio board.

Gets the job done well
Great little recorder. I take the output from my video mixer 1080P into the Panasonic AG-HMR10 onto an SD card. Good quality AVCHD recordings. I use monitors but it also has a screen to verify what is happening. I really like this unit.
