Is a very nice Camera except after using 5 times smudges on video because of lens being higher then front of camera body

Loved it when I first got it really clear clear and steady video's with the EIS I've been using when I'm cruising my electric scooter with chest mount harness and snorkelling. I have used about 5 times and now can't really use it any more.There is a smudge mark right in centre of every video I do now. the top of the lens is higher than the front body of camera when I put in clear water proof housing it has rubbed on the housing causing lens to scratch I suppose you call it now when I do videos got a smudge mark in centre of video's. don't use now as the more I use it the worse it gets. Have to buy new camera again Bummer thought I had bought a bargain.
