Smooth lead tones for days

Possibly. It’s very hot and aggressive, the typical settings are output on full, tone between 0 and maybe 1 and distortion between 11 o’clock and 1 o’clock.
Tone above that becomes brutal, haven’t played around with that, maybe a world of high-gain madness in there.
Set as suggested gives you smooth, articulate lead tone, familiar sounding being as the top studio players use it.

Addictive sounds
This pickup sounds so damn good it’s hard to put in words. Packaging is astounding, it actually smells like an old pickup. Even has rusty mounting screws and old rubber tubing.
Sound is punchy, midrange , sounds like a classic Motown record. Cuts through the mix. I cannot get a bad or harsh sound out of my bass, I’ve tried.
