Doctor Who Series 1 (DvD) Exelent, good, brilliant.....
I'm an old fan of the original Dr Who, I was there day One, aged seven and loved it. During it's declining years I was sad to see it still running without the thought, care, and money it needed to keep it's standards up. The second time the Daleks where shown on screen in 1964, Fighting William Hartnell in the future on Earth, the BBC spent the same amout of money as would normally have been spent on a feature film of it's day, and for the first time the Beeb did outside shooting around London for a Tv project, old now, but money well spent at the time. After the attempt to revive the Dr in the late Nineties failed, I was horrified when Russel T Davies wanted to bring it back again, I was frightened he, and the other writers wouldn't understand Dr Who... How wrong I was. This is Dr Who re-invented. but they keep the spirit of who the Dr was. This is not just Si-Fi, it is well written drama, with feeling and Humor. Time and money put to good use on the stories and effects. After the first episode explains the Dr and your need to know a bit of Dr Who history is explained, things really take off, showing what time travel could be like, The future, and how the world ends. and how far vanity and corruption could go. The past, and an explanation of Ghosts in Victorian Times, with really great guest actors like Simon Callow. They show you why every one should fear a single Dalek, let alone a whole fleet, re-inventing them just enough to make the difference. There is a demonstration of why you shouldn't mess with time in the episode 'Fathers Day', when a longing to change time nearly destroys thw whole world, It's sounds really corney, but the story is well written, with depth, sadness, and loss, brilliant. If you ever liked Dr Who just a little, you'll love this, If you enjoy the odd interest in si-Fi you will love this, If you have ever thought of what would happen if you could travel time has ever caught your imagination, then... yes you will love this, If you enjoy well written drama, that grips your imagination then.. you you will love this... Look just go out and buy it, I did, it's simply great.

Disapointing Revisit to an old Friend
Not very Happy with this copy. I had a vinyl copy of this album some time ago. I’m not a big Zep fan, but bought the LP after hearing it played at a friend’s house. Seeing this Digitally Remastered CD copy, I thought ,Yes, Really want to hear that again…What A Disappointment… It took me a long time to take to digital music. To me early CD’s lacked something you got from the analogue sound. I thought the digital sound then, too harsh-brash, it lacked a certain smoothness, even with occasional clicks and pops from vinyl. As time moved on and engineers found the mark with digital sound, I found I enjoyed a lot of remastered older stuff from my LP collection, and I have no vinyl at all now. This album sound like all I disliked about the Digital sound. The drumming sounds like someone hitting biscuit tin lids, very harsh short and brash. Robert Plant has a high, and at time shrill voice, but also there is some warmth to it, but here most of that has gone. But the bass sounds are muddy and lack form. I will look for this album again as I still want it in my collection, but not this version. Jimmy stick to what you are really very good at, writing music and Playing your guitar.

Does exactly what is says on the tin
Basically the expression 'Does what it says on the Tin' Works so well here. Fits my strat perfectly, to add basic protection while storing or transporting it around, has a roomy sroage bag in the front to carry any small spares you want to have with it, strap, leads ect. And has the Fender logo to boot. Has both carry handles or shoulder straps for carrying too. All at a very reasonable price
