Ben Elton's - The Thin Blue Line
1 of 1 found this helpful I vaguely remembered seeing one or two episodes of this on TV but not the whole series and felt the urger to give it a second chance.
Have to say the whole family became rather hooked on it! The characters are hillarious, even if exaggerated for the purpose of the comedy, and we all seem to be able to quote Chief Inspector Fowler and Constable Goody quite well now. I am surprised this hasn't been given another showing on the Beeb (if it has I missed it) rather than endless repeats of The Good Life, which we all know off by heart now.
I would recommend this to just about anyone, except perhaps my Mum who would think it a bit petty, but it's Fowler's pedantry that makes it!
