A solid title for a 7th generation game
I played the first two games for Gamecube and PS2, so naturally, I had to try this one.
Needless to say, it's similar to Big Red One, except, for me, more of a challenge. It could have had a level where you get to take control of various fighter planes from WWII, that's the only drawback. But you do get the chance to drive an M4 Sherman tank, which is unique. Call of Duty 3 was released in 2006, and in many ways it still holds up. Most of the game is seen through various perspectives: American, French Canadian, British and Polish. The Allies take point at Saint-Lo to rid Paris of the Third Reich, and like Big Red One, you feel a sense of camaraderie with the other soldiers involved. Highly recommended for fans of the Call of Duty franchise.

Phenomenal
Both Timesplitters 2 and Timesplitters Future Perfect are the true successors of Goldeneye 007.
The game play is amazing. Smooth dynamics, and the beautifully rendered physics of the weapons in the game, make for an enjoyable playing experience.
Timesplitters Future Perfect has a perfect blend of zany comedy and underlying tones of darkness sprinkled through out the game. it's an action packed thrill ride that takes you on a journey through haunted, zombie infested dwellings, futuristic war torn cities and various challenges like monkey curling, death matches and cat racing!
Free Radical went above and beyond when they created the Timesplitters series. If you've ever played Goldeneye 007 or Perfect Dark, you'll see the similarities right away.
Highly recommended!

The Book of J, written by Harold Bloom and in collaboration with translator David Rosenberg, is something that needs to be read by anyone interested in the historicity of the first three books of the Hebrew Bible, or Pentateuch. The book explains the theory that Genesis, Exodus and Numbers were written by a highly sophisticated woman who was, possibly, a member of the High court of Solomon or a princess of the Davidic Royal house. Along with amazing depth of insight offered by both Bloom and Rosenberg, the Book of J contains the first three books of the Old Testament without being abridged, if that makes sense. Much of the Old Testament has been redacted, edited and revised over the last 1,000 years. But here we get a fresh look at the original writings of the author simply known as J.
