Monster 16 gage CL3 Speaker Wire
This wire is the real deal. It was in fact a Monster factory rolled spool of 16 gage speaker wire. But it was not 100 feet - it was 100 feet PLUS an extra 18 inches more! Not like the reviews of other brand wires I read about that ended up being around 85 feet. It has been my personal experience that the Monster brand is a better speaker wire then other brands I have tried in the past. For my tower speakers I once tried a ten gage wire that looked good and out of curiosity tried 14 gage Monster wire and with detailed listening confirmed that the Monster wire gave a noticeable improvement in sound quality. I’m using this 16 gage for small rear surround speakers. For larger front speakers go 14 or better yet 12 gage. And for those who disbelieve in Monster wire, you are missing out on the better sound you could be enjoying.
