Very sexy, with some powerful messages.

Absolutely super album. Expected tracks, plus strong Barbados accent. Some really surprising tracks, did I hear Enya at the start of one !!? The track about guns is very powerful. The track with Eminem? is really startling. A really comprehensive exploration of her different ranges. No-one could fail to be impressed. Quite raunchy at times, plenty of steam.

Irish Jam

I was surprised to hear people enthusing about a film I'd not heard of. The reviews made the dvd irresistible, and its arrival keenly anticipated. After about the first half I thought I'd landed a bit of a pup, even though the acting is good and there is a certain quality around. However despite a somewhat cloudy beginning there is something about this film that touches the soul. Scenery of Ireland is great, despite it being Cornwall, some really gifted, well known actors and lovely music. Anna Friel doesn't seem to be able to put a foot wrong these days. Although you think it can't, this film does touch on some very poignant themes of cultural difference. What it does is bring back the likelihood that there is such a thing as goodness in humanity. Synics will hate it, romantics love it. It depends on how quickly you can jump to implausabilty. I don't shed a tear all that easily, but did to this. Do you believe in fairies !?
