Apologia Science Exploring Creation with Astronomy
This is a very easy to teach subject with Jeannie Fulbright's well thought out and descriptive lessons on the planets, their formation and the stars surrounding them.
As with other Apologia science books, the texts are God's creation based. This book would be good for an advanced 3rd grade student-an average 7th grade student; you will not be disappointed with this text, as it is in my opinion more thorough than that covered by Abeka or Rod and Staff on the subject of the planets. An accompanying student journal would be helpful for your student to write the information in, but is not necessary to have in order to complete the text.
