A great tool for matching XLR balanced to RCA unbalanced audio.
Frequently in my line of work I run into instances where Pro audio gear and Consumer audio gear need to be interconnected. With XLR balanced and RCA unbalanced, I hate having the impedance matching wrong and when performing test measurements have to account for the dBm differences. This small device is easy to pack and take to a venue and also handy for a permanent setup. Sure, I could build one of these in a project box but why bother when it's ready to use at this price.

These are expensive high quality units however this one has damage to the mating DIN connector threads so it had to be retired from "certification" applications. It does however still exceed the specs of other terminators of lower quality so for my plans to use it for field work troubleshooting...it is an excellent value and well worth what I paid for it.
