Knipex mini bolt cutters
1 of 1 found this helpful I ordered 3 pairs of these a few weeks ago, a pair for myself and the other two for friends. At the price I paid for them, about $58 NZD, an absolute bargain! They sell in the local farm stores for almost three times that. I have used these wee cutters for about fifteen years and found that they have no competition, there are copies and I have witnessed the result, chipped jaws etc, I wouldn't touch them with a "barge pole." Used correctly i.e. no levering the jaws to make a cut, which will inevitably cause the cutting edge chip, they will last for years, I have had an older pair for about ten years, used nearly every day in my work as a fencer, cutting literally thousands of 2.5mm high tensile wires and are as good as the day I bought them. I use the new ones as they have a slight indentation on both cutting edges which stop the wire from slipping towards the tip and make for very easy cutting, so thank you and congratulations Knipex for a marvellous and unequalled product.
