Good idea, badly executed.
The display on all three failed to work even with new batteries.

1 of 1 found this helpful had a front seat to some of the 20th century's most historic events. A newspaperman, he had an interesting career until near WWII, then having lost his job, was picked up as one of "Murrow's boys", the CBS team put together by Edward Murrow, and whom together brought radio into its own as a major way to report the news. He was a very good writer, and this book is a page turner, one that I re-read about once a year. Excellent stories of the times written by someone who knew how to write. His personal life left a lot to be desired, but the peccadilloes of the man are not covered in this volume. His meeting, marriage, and life together with the woman who would be his wife for most of his live are covered, but the later difficulties are left out. That's OK (a comprehensive biography of the man can be found in a tome entitled, "A Complex Fate). I recommend the book for anyone interested in the history of Hitler's Germany.
