Javis Fine not fine enough for OO
Some of the granite chips were larger than the gap between the OO sleepers [ties] which made it difficult to brush off the bits that would not drop into the gaps prior to applying the diluted PVA glue. However, it looks ok when completed. I have a 3.5 x 1.6 metre layout with lots of sidings and the 7lb bag completed nearly half the tracks. I have bought 7lbs of EXTRA FINE to complete the ballasting but I have yet to start application. I was concerned about using two different grades on the same layout as it may not look right but I am prepared to accept this as the Extra Fine will be easier to apply. Hence a 3 star review for Fine as it is not fine enough for OO. I have a 500gm bag of Gaugemaster Fine Ballast OO Gauge GM114 which has about the same particle size as the Javis Extra fine. Javis has a consistent colour whereas the Gaugemaster is made of different coloured particles so looks less realistic in my opinion. I hope this helps.

Paid for itself in one use
I was quoted £40 to change my watch battery as it water resistant to 50m. I had taken the back off years ago but could not get it back on. This time I was prepared! A lot of kit for the money. I can't fault it. I have offered a battery changing service to family.

Repaired the reversing camera blue screen fault
OEM part which repaired the reversing camera blue screen fault therefore the 5 star rating but an expensive part for an old car which should not have failed. The camera coax cable flexes in the rubber tube between the boot lid and the car body.
