This item is wonderful for people with RA as it makes using the end of the tube easy when hands have no strength. Being metal you can use pliers to turn the key

wonderful pie funnel
The pie bird works really well, is of good quality and the tin it comes in is great to use as a storage container ,minimizing breakages, and reminding one of how to use it. I made a pastry topped pie and the pie bird lived up to expectations. it was easy to clean and is a great addition to my cooking utensils.
