Why are some complaining about should have gotten the 6800K?
5 of 7 found this helpful Ok why? You nay sayers out there giving out advice to others to jump ship with this one and go for the X99 platform way makes me wonder what is your agenda? Does anyone think this 6700k just doesn't cut it at a lower price.
This CPU does an outstanding job of gaming, rendering, computing, dancing and hugging you all day long. For what you want and need in a Z motherboard platform for the price you pay you cannot go wrong.
Easily overclocked. Keeps cool under pressure.
Do you really think that if you can only settle for this one and not the Big Dog CPU's will somehow slow your work or play down? Do not be fooled into thinking that this particular one cannot get the job done. And guess what? It's cheaper. Go out and spend the extra money saving on something nice for your loved ones or buy some cool clothes.
Are you into heavy hard loaded down video rendering or making your PC perform 100 program application functions at once while playing a game? Then go get those Extreme X based systems. But for the price performance ratio and excellent gaming or even some video rendering this I7-6700K is an excellent choice.
