ATARI 7800 VIDEO GAME GALAGA CX7805 IN BOX WITH MANUAL UNTESTED
    28 November 2015
    galaga
Galaga is an awesome conversion of the 1984 arcade classic. It makes a great transition from the arcade to your 7800 pro system. Your part of the intergalactic warrior fleet. Your duty is to stop the galagans from over taking earth. Long, long ago there was an interstellar war and the galagans lost their grip on the planets in which they controlled. One by one the galagans retake all the plants one by one. Now they are ready to take yours! Jump into your star fighter and unleash a storm of later fire. They will break out of formation and race at you in a kamikaze style attack. They don't care to sacrifice their own in attempt to reclaim your world. The action is fast. The colors are vibrant and the enemies are well detailed. When the galaga song plays you'll catch yourself tapping your feet to its in snaring rhythm. I recommend this game to any atari fan and also pick up a copy of xevious! Another wonderful game. God bless
Dark Chamber - NEW FACTORY SEALED - Atari 7800 game cartridge

    Not a gauntlet clone
Let's just get the whole clone business out of the way. Gamers have labeled dark chambers as a " rip off " or clone from gauntlet. That is not the case. In the early 8 ' s a clever guy named John Palevich created a game called dandy and the creator of gauntlet copied it. In which he later gave credit to dandy as the inspiration for gauntlet. Now on to to dark chambers. Dark chambers is an excellent title for the 7800. It has 26 levels and three difficulty settings. On the first difficulty setting ( beginner ) you will absolutely pass through each level without any opposition. Next difficulty setting ( standard ) begins easy enough but will increase in difficulty by the middle of the game. Finally the best difficulty is advanced. Advanced difficulty will hit hard from the beginning all the way through to the end. In my opinion though this is the most enjoyable setting. Tons of enemies more valuable treasure ( most cups are silver in standard but are mostly replaced by gold cups in advanced ). I've beaten all modes except beginner. First time I beat advanced I cheated a little. I played all the way through standard to aquire all the equipment and max out the smart bombs and allowed the computer to bump me up to the advanced setting after beating standard. The most enjoyable way though to experience the advanced mode is to start your game in that setting. As for the equipment I just mentioned there are four types that you carry. The sword which changes how many hits it takes to degrade an enemy to weakest form. Then you have a shield that reduces the damage you take in battle. The gun ( maybe a crossbow icon would have made more sense due to the setting a time of this game ) allows you to shoot more rapidly. Should you buy this game? Without a doubt buy it. It's fun it's two player and it's cheap. No 7800 gamer should be without the greatly enjoyable title. For a more in depth review check out " the no swear gamer" on youtube. He reviews both dark chamber atari titles. The one for 7800 and the 2600. God bless
Commando (Atari 7800, 1989) Scarce boxed with game and instructions

    commando worth the dough?
Commando for the 7800 is in short an amazing port of capcom ' s famed arcade machine of the same name. Put away those rolls or bags of quarters you won't need them here. Not only is it a great port of a great arcade but it has more to offer than its big brother arcade that would beat you and take your quarters. For starters they have added two new items to help you out will your dodging enemy fire and hoping those two hand grenades in the air weren't thrown at you. The first is a machine gun. Pick it up and kiss thumb blisters good bye! No more repeatedly hitting the button to fire. Now just press and hold the fire and rata tat tat tat auto fire my friend. Second is a knife. Tired of feeling like a little weak commando that dies every single time an enemy touches you? Well reach out and touch them back. No longer will the kill you when accidently bumping into you. Those items are great, but what else does it offer that the arcade don't? Secret areas! Throw a grenade in the right spot and bam!! A secret entrance. Go in find the p.o.w.s and get out. Not to mention you can set the difficulty from easy to beat your head against the wall and throw your controller like your 6 again. So buy it so you can own it and own it to play it. It's well worth it. God bless
