Excellent design, poor suction
I've owned the Discovery II since the 80s, finally deciding to purchase a newer-version when the repairman charged $130 for a simple tune-up.
The Aerus Electrolux Legacy [AEL] looks amazing with vintage Electrolux styling, a hard case body for trapping sound & dirt, no silicon hand grips - it chaffs skin and is an irritant, a super-low front deck which fits under all my furniture. The hose attaches quickly, the vacuum runs smoothly yet isn't too heavy, the U-style bags are easy to change, the motor is quiet, and there are no unnecessary bells or whistles. The carryall keeps all the attachments organized, is portable, lessens the weight of the AEL, and keeps messy hoses out-of-the-way until needed.
However, the vacuum doesn't seem to have enough suction. I ran it over a throw rug and the vacuum did not pick up dirt, but also didn't pick up the rug. I've used four other vacuums over the past five years - all an attempt to replace the Discovery II - and all the vacuums had great suction and they picked up the throw rugs. The AEL may need servicing as I purchased it used, but it was listed as barely used, so not sure.
At this time, I want to give the AEL four stars out of five and hope that the cleaner needs a simple adjustment. There are so many great points about the AEL, and the entire Electrolux line, but the lack of vacuuming power is a major concern. If the vacuum is repaired and works as expected then I will up my rating to five stars; if the repair affects no change, then I will lower my rating to two stars, perhaps even one. .

Sophisticated
Oneida Simba, also known as Jacqueline, is a heavyweight and over-sized set of utensils which add an elegant touch to every meal. The simple motif on the neck looks floral, but is abstract enough that it does not overpower the piece nor make it look too feminine nor too masculine.
Each handle is satin which provides a vivid contrast to the high reflection of the working part of each implement (bowl, tines, or blade). Each piece is weighty, yet feels balanced and substantial when holding.
Oneida Simba is Stainless Steel 18/0. The flatware should be washed by hand and dried with a soft cloth to prevent rust and dulling of the product.

A great acrylic yarn
Caron One pound yarn come in a wide variety of colors with limited, seasonal additions. It is very easy to coordinate the colors, which include classics and never any fad or garish hues. One pound of yarn goes a looooong way (that's about 812 yards!) - reducing splicing and knots in big projects, such as, afghans, baby blankets, and sweaters.
This is an acrylic yarn, but doesn't look like plastic or have that weird shininess that is seen on some brands of yarn. The skeins never have any chemical smell, to me, and although the yarn may feel a little stiff at first, it softens when being knit and drapes surprisingly well. Washing the finished object makes the yarn even softer. I've never experienced any splitting of the yarn, even after frogging and re-knitting the yarn over and over. I also have not experienced any knots or slubs as the yarn remains even in texture, weight, and size throughout the entire skein.
The only negative I can see is that the yarn is acrylic, so it does not breathe the way natural fiber yarns breathe, such as wool and cotton. The way to overcome that problem, if making articles of clothing, would be to line the garment with cotton.
In sum, this yarn is of considerable value for its size, quality, and cost. The local yarn store near me often has this yarn on sale for $3.00 less that the usual price. As long as you have the storage, stock up!
