A Prince Among Men
"Purple Rain" was always one of my favorite films & the original soundtrack LP was fantastic. When it came out in 1984, the only way to get music from the film not performed by Prince was by purchasing several 12" EPs of Appolonia 6, & The Time. There were some excellent extended versions of some of the tunes performed by Prince on 12" EPs as well. Nice to finally have ALL the music from the film on one collection. Highly recommended.

Better Books Are Out There
The editing & punctuation are terrible. Also, I had to go back & re-read certain passages because, out of nowhere, a word that doesn't belong will pop up in the sentence so, you have to figure out what word shouldn't be where it is. It seems the author only ran the episodes for reference one time. Also, there's nothing really new to read about. No mentions of tie-in-merchandise & not too many quotes from people on the production. The best thing about this book is the cover art. If you want a detailed account of "Space:1999", read Robert Woods' "Destination Moonbase Alpha" or John Kenneth Muirs' "Exploring Space:1999". Still, as far as Sherlocks' book is concerned, I'm still looking forward to Volume 2! I suggest you should hire an editor first...
