An Affordable Essential
7 of 7 found this helpful Because I'm not yet eligible for an upgrade on my Verizon Phone, but wanted to get rid of my DARE, I opted to go for the affordable Curve while waiting for my upgrade. While my DARE had all the bells and whistles, it made checking the email for my small business a pain, and it seemed to be made more for those who want to go nuts with apps, etc. On the other hand, my Curve makes doing business easy, especially since I work in a secure office where I cannot check my external emails while at my day job. I've found that responding to clients with virtual immediacy has made the curve totally worth it - and the enhanced response time has definitely helped me garner a few more clients.
For fun, the Curve also has the free app for "Pandora Radio", which is awesome - it makes the unlimited data package worth it b/c I can plug in my blackberry to my car stereo and it's completely eliminated any desire I've had to get Satellite Radio.
The only downside i could find to the Curve is the camera. While it's very easy to use, the quality doesn't match some other phones I've had, but since I do photography any way, I've always got a good camera handy, and have just gotten back to using IT instead of my phone for quick shots.
All and all, it's a must-have for those who're looking for business basics with some added perks.

great phone for young users
Great for a teenager! My daughter loves the cuteness of the phone matched with the size of screen & useful qwerty keyboard. I wouldn't recommend it for a businessperson - but for a parent whose teen wants a blackberry but doesn't need the data package - A-1!
