Powerful compact mixer
This has been a great purchase. It has enough power for a variety of uses, including heavier batters.
I appreciate its compactness because I have a small, inconvenient kitchen and no room for a counter appliance. This comes with three sets of beaters; have only used the standard so far, but they have performed well. My only complaint is the same as some others I have read, and that is the lid. There is no way to secure it, it fits well, but no means to lock or secure it. (Right now I use a longer "Gear Tie"(reg name) to secure the lid. Hopefully there will be a latch, or? in the future. All in all I am really pleased with my purchase and look forward to much use in the future!

Enjoyable little volume!
This is a delightful, and somewhat educational, I found, little book. I was first drawn to it by the title, and when it arrived, for some reason I started to read the pages, and sections, from the back of the book forward, and therefore I didn't know the title of each section-made it a little more interesting for me! This isn't a judgement of the book, just a personal notation.
If you read at all, and are over 50, as I am, many of the women quoted are familiar to you. If not, then read this easily digested book, and learn what these notable women had to say. I would love to read an updated version of this book, since its copyright is 24 years ago.
Altogether, an enjoyable read. I am interested in reading other of the 'Pearls of Wisdom" books!
