great for Alaska buffs
Great book for anyone interested in Alaska and homesteading there years ago. Many interesting stories from the authors' years w/ his family in AK in the early 1900's onto setting out on his own. Easy read that will keep your interest.

Don't give him a reason to shoot you- he's justified.
Great series. If you are a fan of Timothy Olyphant you will enjoy this. Good story weaving. You like him, you hate him. He gets himself in trouble, then out, then in again. Subtle humor and good acting.
