Emotional rollercoaster, relatable characters
I have got/watched all the Ghibli films and this is definitely one of their better ones. The story is gripping, with twists and turns at every corner, which entices you to watch more. The unravelling ending was a great surprise, its a film about a loyal, ever lasting, bond and friendship, set in a serene country side (beautiful art work) and a wonderful old manor house. Ghibli always portray beautifully drawn houses in their films, but I have to say ALL the houses in this film are more then desirable... Definitely worth a watch! (p.s) always watch in both English and Japanese because the wording is sometimes different and can mean different things as the stories goes along.
