Durable and the color I was looking for.
I love almost everything about this teakettle. I seems well made and is the color and size I wanted. It's only flaws, if you want to call them that are that when it whistles it doesn't seem to whistle and until it is at a rolling boil, the whistle is more like a low steam engine and not the high pitched I am used to and the whistling mechanism is all plastic. Maybe a slightly different metal design would have given me the louder whistle. The teakettles I researched don't tell you what kind of noise the whistle actually is.
