If it worked, it would have been great
1 of 1 found this helpful This is my third Mr. Coffee espresso maker, same model purchased 3 times. After 5 to 6 years, it dies (understandable). Just no pressure left in the machine. I purchased this on ebay, new but the ad expressed the box had been opened. We received it, tried to use it (no directional pamphlet came with it but I kept my old pamphlet) & all it did was create steam & 1/4" of made coffee in little pot. Tried it 2 more times & the same thing. The steam escaped from the coffee maker, & did not produce any coffee. I guess this one was a lemon since the previous ones worked like a charm. I did not buy the "newer" version of this product due to the many bad reviews that it had, mainly the handle breaking off. Mr. Coffee needs to create a better product for their customers.
