White Trash
1 of 1 found this helpful I find this book alarming and educational. Alarming, in that; there are people who believed they had the right to determined who should be a part of society and who shouldn't. To choose who shall live or die, or to be classified as unfit. Educational, because you get an in depth look at a glossed over history. And to stay focused, I looked at it from a spiritual standpoint, mankind is constantly trying to establish his own righteousness/purity, or self-worth, when the Holy Scriptures declares all under sin and have fallen short of the glory of God. Unlike the animals, some are compared to; it isn't for the cattle/horses, or any other beast that Christ died, but for mankind. And, with the attitudes of those written about in this book, I can understand why. A very good book. It is nice to know that in the Kingdom of God there isn't a caste/class system. Thank God.

I appreciate the Jewishness of this Bible. I appreciate the Hebrew terms throughout. I am learning the Word of God mindful at all times that it is a Jewish Book written by Jews for Jews and non-Jews. I like it. It may take more time in learning the pronunciation of the Hebrew text, but it's worth it. A great work!
