Surprisingly bright,gets hot.
1 of 1 found this helpful For the price, this is impressive. It has a real power LED and from how hot the case gets there is some heatsinking even if the LED board isn't mounted to the shell. It pulls 250-300mA so is more like 1W than 3. Don't know how long the LED will last but as a flashlight attachment to a USB power bank, I'm happy.

Good USB3 reader for the price
Seems a bit flimsy compared to $10-$20 readers, but perfectly good enough and it does the job - over 25MB/s speed if the card supports it.

Incomplete Charge
While this is fine for the price, and the batteries test out well ( at 700mAh, like a standard Eneloop), the charger does an inconsistent job fully charging the batteries especially the top slot which gets pretty warm. It'll do in a pinch.
