Pleasantly surprised!......
1 of 1 found this helpful I was spoiled with my Ungar 9900 for years and years. But it was getting harder to find replacement parts for it. It finally died completely and few weeks ago and it was time for a new iron. After doing the research, I settled on a W60 unit. I bought three different tips for it and since I repair old vintage radios, I knew I would need extra heat for the jobs at hand. (no pcb soldering on this bench!) Well, after a few repairs jobs, I was floored on how well the combination of the right tip and the W60 performed. Those tips are easily wettable and transfer heat very well. It's a real pleasure to use this combination.

This replaced an Ungar 9900. I was a little leery of it at first but the Weller unit surpassed my expectations. Thank you....

They will fly away.....
The JJRC H20 is a nice hexacopter that will perform to expectations. However, after owning three of them and having all three fly away, I thought it was time to warn perspective buyers of this problem. I have a small flying field in which I operate small drones and the available area is about 30 x 50 feet. In all three losses, the drone would shoot straight upward and fly out of sight and lost forever. As it was flying upward, I would shut the controller off. Knowing that the shutoff time of the drone is approx. five seconds after shutting down the controller, it just kept flying straight up. At that height, it was at the mercy of the winds and once out of sight it was lost. The company advertises this product as an indoor/outdoor flyer.....I'd think twice about flying this unit outside.
The JJRC H20 has been the only drone (I own ten of them) to exhibit this problem. I have smaller and larger quads I fly with confidence and have never lost any of them due to problems like this. And the last drone was an out-of-the-box, first time test.
Probably, because it's an inexpensive product, not much thought is given to price and reliability however, after the third time around with losing this drone, I'm considering this product to be a $20.00 waste of money.
