useless

the product is 100% useless. Product cannot be used by Comcast/xfinity customers because the company has the power to activate the unit at which time they will bill the user a rental fee of $7 a month. The company provides their customers these units free but collects the rental fees. So buying the unit from a third party does not allow the customer to avoid the monthly rental fee which makes buying the unit useless.

Lionel Erie Lackawana freight set

This set was produced in 1984. It is very easy and uncomplicated without all the new fancy sounds and electronics. Secondly, it was made in AMERICA. I like my toys to be simple and uncomplicated. The new stuff is all coming from CHINA and as nice as it looks, if your an operator you will soon find out how much it costs to repair these hi-tech engines unless of course you happen to be an electrical engineer. So, in closing, good luck to all who buy the Chinese stuff. I'll stay with my older made in America trains.

Lionel Remote Control Track 1019 Vintage Controller with nice OB

This track number was only produced in 1946/47 for use with "027" gauge track. This track was included with my set #1407b which was given to me by my parents in 1946 at Christmas. Thus it turned 70yrs old this past xmas and to find this remote control track in such good shape was astonishing. The track was very clean the controller was original to the track and the box was crisp and clean almost like new. My original set is now completed with all pieces and boxes. I'm sure this track with its box went thru a lot in 70 years and my thanks to all who handled it through out the years for keeping it so nice
