Impressive!
As an amateur photographer, that belongs to a local photography club in my hometown, I am fairly familiar with various cameras & brands. Normally I don't use a point & shoot camera, but I decided I wanted to purchase a point & shoot for times & events, when I wanted "snapshots" but I didn't want to risk damaging my expensive DSLR camera. This camera is primarily for taking photos of my daughter while at amusement parks, fairs & at the pool. I was especially drawn to this model because of the waterproof feature. I have yet to try it in water, as it is winter time here. But, as far as image quality, I am pretty impressed. Granted, if you normally shoot with a DSLR, this isn't for you. But if you are looking for an affordable, reliable, quality point & shoot, then this camera is the one for you. I'd purchase it again. I'm pleased with my purchase.

Great first SLR camera!
This is my first SLR camera. I am very pleased with it. It is easy to use and the battery life is excellent. It is a bit heavy/bulky but that is easily over looked based on its fabulous performance. Pictures are clear and crisp. The only downfall is that the kit lens has limited functions, depending on your photography needs.

Fabulous reinforcement for children!
Our church began using the Hermie & Friends video series to help teach lessons to our younger pre-school age children. My daughter loved the characters so much that she almost didn't realize the valuable lessons she was learning while watching. That's when I decided to start purhasing a few of the movies for us at home. Some of the lessons that she needs more reinforcement with. I would recommend these films to any parent. They are really a wonderful way to teach and/or reinforce the values you want your child to grow up with.
